The Mind Of Christ
Jesus taught using parables. Stories that helped his audience see themselves, see each other, see community, see Divine. These fables help us shred the ego. Shed the blinding selfishness that separate us from deep loving relationships. The first four books of the New Testament are filled with such stories from Jesus. I encourage you to read one. My favorite, the parable of the lost son, Luke chapter 15. This story is filled with multiple levels of self understanding that shoot straight to the heart while moving you closer to the love of God. Start there, start anywhere but know these stories have one home for the reader… the heart.
