Spiritual Formation Is Natural Movement
Where are you most naturally at peace? Where does your heart stop racing? Where does your mind slow and move away from the inner turmoil of circumstances? How do you allow that voice inside to speak and when? Non-violence is the ability to be honest with self and these questions require just that. We bend, break and beat ourselves trying to find peace. From booze to sex, and everything in between, solace is the selling point for every addiction the world has for you. Every minute of every day we are invited to indulge into the certainty of the world's peace through people, places or things. It’s all bullshit! Every last post and pitch for your attention; bullshit. Finding peace will always come through the intersection of sorrow and joy. We must experience Divine love in our most traumatic of movements and the most joyful of celebrations. It is the most sacred intermingling one can do. We must afford the opportunity to bask in the mystery of love through the intermixing of sorrow and joy. We learn love is anchored in experience and practice of Divine relationship among the craziest natural movements of our lives. Stop the random searching for someone or something to touch those hot spots of over-bloviated emotion. Listen to what's deep in you. Twitter, Instagram, FB or our current political environment will not help. Focus on the importance of that very natural voice as it points you into stillness, silence and maturity. Listen to the call of love.
