All In
There is a cost to love. There is a risk to love. There is an uncomfortability to love. When we love we take on everything human and human means out of control unpredictability. Love will never be tidy, safe and measured. It will be wild and unnerving. It will ask for sacrifice. It will dominate routines and crush dreams. It can stop vacations. Empty out bank accounts. Move you to unknown lands. Love is the greatest movement of your life and the one thing you will return to time after time. Love isn't asking you to be a doormat or ignore passion. Love is asking for time. Time to include, time to forgive, time to change outcome, time to sacrifice, time to heal, time to become, time to free, time to recognize grace…time to be all in. Our greatest fears will be realized among love. We must hold this energy. Be willing to stay in it’s uncomfortability. Be willing to expect nothing, demand nothing and prove nothing. Love never fails.
