We Learn To Sit With Sorrow

Sorrow can produce anger, opposition, even oppression, or it can be the fuel to draw back into Divine love and belonging. We learn to sit with sorrow. We learn to see joy through sorrow. We learn our sorrow is the “value” of how we have loved or anchored into the love of another. Sorrow is uncomfortable. At times so dark we lose hope and perspective of the very thing it teaches. We will be hurt. We will lose but we must not run from this burning building. We hold fast to the way in which sorrow points. Its direction is always back into the Divine. Always back into love. Always back into the beauty of the love centered deep in our very creation. Our calling to love will always run through sorrow. Sorrow could be season or lifetime. The longing and desire to recapture love lost or love forgotten will always require sorrow to perform the miracle of divine connection in our deep dark places.
