A bit of a departure today… this seems to have morphed into a poem. So be it.

I wish you words that move time. 

I wish you a teaching that inspires beyond classroom. 

I wish you inclusive causes. 

I wish you radical opposition that kills oppression. 

I wish you sorrow so deep it breaks you into the love of God. 

I wish you intimacy that sees origin. 

I wish you prayers that run the course of quarantine. 

I wish you desire to prolong a cloistered consciousness.

I wish you freedom beyond your bank account.

I wish you abundance without toilet paper.

I wish you happiness in relationships.

I wish you a roaming imagination.

I wish change to love community and earth.

I wish you unselfishness.

I wish you peace.

I wish you life.
