Jesus Is Killing You Or You Are Killing Him
As a spiritual teacher Jesus toppled the world's understanding of love. Giving us the freedom to choose ourselves into love, both giving and receiving. He did this through his own love of those marginalized and left behind by the powers that be, both religious and political. He faced them with a giant spiritual mirror that required them to love, or not. For the record, his “movement” was not very popular even to this day. It got Jesus killed. Perhaps it's killing you too. Challenging the selfishness of the world will always kill you. Jesus didn't give us motivation or cause to love. He simply reflected his own heart and love for you. The ability to simply be loved, always without judgement or care for what you may or may not do, be or become. He became love here on earth so you and I may reflect to ourselves and one another love. Don't lose yourself in the tit for tat of systems bent on controlling your “right” or “wrong.” Lose yourself in a love that cherishes the very person you are, right now.
