Faith should be the most shocking proposal of your life. It asks everything and nothing at all. It worries without care. It provokes while seeking peace. Faith dominates life with nothing to prove, nothing to lose. It seeks to ground and hold you to a deeper sense of safety and security. Faith is blind to an ambitious world needing to define existence. Faith needs you. It’s alone without you. Faith asks for hope and assurance. Faith believes in you. Faith is no stranger to darkness. Comfortable in the uncomfortable, able to withstand the storm, able to mother and father in times of great stress, able to love you.
