Bullet In The Spiritual Gun
There are a few quick down and dirty answers to growing faith, but the one I find with the most chops is silence. Silence/stillness is the opportunity to know the specifics about yourself and God. The Divine speaks and speaks all the time, particularly through silence which, for the record, is crazy weird spiritual shenanigans that we must learn is a mode of Godly communication. Unhooking from the noise of culture, personality, ideology and theology is key to its “success.” How you unhook has no rules other than you simply do, and you must realize silence takes practice! Stillness will ultimately mirror you and that will be stretching and frankly counterintuitive for your plan of the day or your life. Remember, the key is silence/stillness. The ability to recognize your body, mind and spirit away from the distractions that keep you unable to recognize the specifics about you, God and community.
