Breath Prayer
Breath prayer is a spiritual practice dating back to the sixth century. Also known as the “Jesus Prayer” or “Prayer of the Heart,”
Practitioners repeat a phrase, word or piece of scripture to the rhythm of their breath
As with any spiritual practice the idea is to intentionally enter into the presence of the Divine.
You can’t screw prayer up! He understands your desire to be loved and draw into his presence. As you find space to speak and listen to him, allow your curiosity and natural internal movement to take over. BUT remember… you will listen as much as you will speak.
Instruction for Breath Prayer:
NOTE: you may change your words, phrases or scripture as often as you like. There is no “one way to practice breath prayer
EXAMPLE
