Bad Theological Chopsticks
Love is the defining point for all those bent on picking the human carcass clean with bad theological chopsticks; looking for evil in everyone, shaming and guilting us into salvation. If we love, God is in us and that love is made perfect. Notice that period at the end of that sentence. God loves our humanity, hoping to take up residency in his own creation, and that love is the greatest form of perfection the universe has ever known. Why? Because love just feels so damn good! It’s not God showing off. It’s God hoping you also fall in love with your humanity. Being human is en vogue as we become woke to the idea that God isn't out to get us, and in fact, she wants to hang out with us. Do yourself a favor. Cut yourself a giant spiritual break! Allow original sin to take the day off. Party with your humanity as you love one another and allow perfection in you.
