The Ego Wants Great Success Without Failure
The ego is never satisfied and failure is not in the plan. The ego also loves fear. In fact they’re best friends, very happy with one another. They count on each other to provide self defeating mechanisms of safety and control. Failure is a thing and needs to be experienced. Without failure we miss the anchoring spots of receiving love. Not to mention the freedom we gain by simply affording courage an opportunity to get up, dust off and move forward. I am not suggesting you go looking for failure. I am suggesting failure is and will be a part of learning to love. Trying to dodge the experience of failure by allowing ego and fear to wrestle it to the ground will only produce self sabotage. Whatever your idea of success is, ego and fear will try and dominate the narrative. They will say, “run from failure, ignore failure, don't take responsibility for failure.“ I would say stop running, stop hiding and accept failure for what it is: the journey home to love.
