Quiet And Unavailable
More often than not our mind conspires to keep the heart quiet and unavailable. It's hard to talk about the deep stuff swimming in our souls. From abuse to trauma, we prefer to keep it stuffed in an unemotionally available box. The mind and it’s systems of fear and ego do one thing that need understanding, they are designed to keep us quiet and separated from love. Confined to past hurt and pain. The practicality to shattering the loneliness is so damn easy it often feels counter intuitive to what we need. Talking! And a lot of it. But to who and how much and how do you start? The who is probably the easiest. It's that person or persons you are already talking to. The people that you have a natural ease with. The folks that love you! How much can never be enough. You talk until the fear and ego have stopped telling you NOT to talk. And how do you start? This is the hardest part. Opening your mouth takes courage and I'd like to think we all have a bit. Courage is exercised when you decide you've had enough. When you are at your end. When the pain is so great it feels like it’s gonna burst from your gut. Courage is literally the value of listening and acting on spirit. That voice that sits in you right now telling you, “get up and talk.” You need only do one thing. Pick up the phone. Text, call or email that one person who brings you ease. Tell ‘em you need time. Fighting ego and fear is not a thing. It's a battle you will not win. Listening to the Divine calling deep within you to talk; that's the magic bullet! That's courage and will yield freedom from whatever binds you.
