Passion Is The Fabric Of Love
You love as your passion is. My passion or life’s work is simple! It took a while for me to truly identify and then execute, but it is...simple. I help people change the direction of their lives. I always have. I’m not special. I don’t have the answers to the mysteries of life. I simply did one thing as I came to be comfortable in my skin. I listened. “Listened to what, J.R.?!” That voice that sits inside you! You know it. It sounds like common sense or a push to do this, that or live out a dream or chase the Divine. The listening by the way was developed with the help of a spiritual director. And that left me open to have nothing to prove and nothing to lose. I heard me! I heard God. I touched passion and I learned to love. To both give and receive love more deeply. Passion is the fabric of love. Starting or finessing your listening needs one thing: willingness. The allowance to enter into forms of stillness and silence…contemplation. Give yourself an opportunity to reconcile the truth about you. You do that by diving into the deep waters of what you want, need and desire. You Invite God in. You finally speak, out loud, and move in that passion. Yes! This will be hard and even a big pain in the ass, but ohhhh so freeing.
