Hope Needs Curiosity
Basking in hope is confronting the truth about you. Curiosity is the goo that fuels that look. We are drawn to create personas that fill the desires of others hoping to create our value and worth. Nothing will bake us into egoic fearful shells quicker than the rush to please others as a way to true self. The energy behind curiosity sits in those moments where you feel the rush of innocence. Those times when you were captured by a passion you didn't question and the visions they created. Can you still see it? Can you sit in this moment and remember how it burned deep within you? Perhaps you've never let it go. Maybe it disappeared as life swept you by. What was it? Can you still see its reflection in the mirror? This exercise will generate hope but remember, it needs you to acknowledge or at the very least reconcile its truth. There you find God through the joy and sorrow pointing you to true self.
