Denial
Denial is the absence of action in knowing. It’s not that we don't know. it's, we do know but reality or circumstances are so loaded with heavy truth/wisdom it's almost impossible to connect with them emotionally as reality. Denial looks like a very slow moving plane crash where all the passengers are fully aware of their demise but only concerned about next flight connection times. Denial will take everything from you but you will know that and in some cases you will help. Denial has an end, but unfortunately it comes with blood spilled and resources burned to the ground. Busting denial means “dead-ending” the ability to start “seeing” slowly, methodically with squinty eyes open to what the future or current moment is doing or not doing. Dead-ending is you comforting self, with the help of friends, community, natural world and God… prodding, speaking, ripping off bandages of injustice, compliance and enabling. This is a slow process. like the burning of a 1,000 pound wrapped sage. Here are common denial points:
