Be Interrupted
Your life is not your own. Do you know that? Take inventory of the people in your life. What do you see? Who do you “serve” and why? Service is a delicate balance of love and boundaries. It does have its slippery slope. Ego and fear being what they are often try to create systems of service but end up looking like structures of loyalty and attention seeking. We must lean on our desire to love to propel us into service. Love doesn’t need validation nor will it feel like interruption. Love’s work bursts with unselfish movement. Joy at seeing another take on joy. Heart jumping fulfillment watching people become fully alive in recognition of who they are and where their spiritual mojo comes from. Be interrupted. Allow your desire to love become the catalyst for another’s desire to love.
